Good effort!

Really awesome stuff! The pacing's pretty good overall, though there where a few moments where it hangs for emphasis that dragged on a little. Also I noticed you use a LOT of tweening, which doesn't exactly contribute as your own animation style is very good and the tweening stands out too much.

On the whole, good job, awesome re-imagining and I'll be looking forward to your next animation!

Wacky

This is... odd... there's a distinct atmosphere of "WTF" which is a good thing! The animation is a little simple/repetitive though... and the audio clips at places. Interesting concept, but a little bit mediocre execution.

Keep at it though!

Neat-o!

This was a very colorful experience! The story is solid, the artwork cheeky and the voice acting was just excellent. Like being lost in another world... for about 10 minutes or so. Very good job!

The only thing I fear is that this will haunt your future endeavors as your newer works are most likely to be compared to this... and that's a pretty high bar to reach.

AdamCook responds:

I'm very glad to see you're creatively independent yourself; I think your Flash work and music show great potential and I hope you work hard to develop your skills as they'll serve you well in the future.

Thank you so much for losing yourself in our world... and I look forward to the challenge of unshackling myself from expectations. While it's hard to pick up steam when you're starting out, I'm aiming to produce in all fields, and take on as many exciting subjects as I can.
I hope my current and prospective viewers will please keep an open mind as to what I do next, as I foresee running down many wild ways in pursuit of my soaring ambitions.

Cheers mate! Best of luck to the both of us!

Interesting

It's an interesting principle, and it makes for some fun gameplay. I do have a few gripes though... it's a little tricky figuring out what direction/velocity yields the best results and though that's part of the core gameplay, it might be nice to see some sort of indication of what your previous move(s) was/where so you can more easily offset your next one taking into account the results of your previous attempt. Also I found that the air/surface friction of the cubes and the projectiles are pretty strong. I've seen some constructions that held on that would've been impossible in any accurate physics simulation.

In any case, keep up the good work!

What the...

How in the hell are there people getting 150K points?

Anyway, the concept is pretty funny, would've been a great competitive game if some people didn't cheat like this.

domreinalabaster responds:

I'm not sure what the deal is, but we've put in anti-cheat measures into the sequel. :)

Awesome

I love the gameplay, I really enjoyed the story and it doesn't outlast its' welcome. A very well balanced package of 'win'!

Groovy

Your composition is really interesting, but you need to find yourself a guitar(ist), it can really bring it to life.

Shoot me a message :)

Slayer?

It's a pretty decent song... but... Slayer much? :P

GoreBastard responds:

Yeah, fuck originality. If my stuff sounds like Slayer I'll take that as a compliment.

This is so weird, it's cool

This sounds like something you could put under either a very cutesy pet-food commercial, or an extremely silly cartoon. It's fun, it's cheerful (VERY much so even) and well put together.

The only downside I can point out is really that I think if you're halfway the song, you've heard the ending and the mixing makes the high piano a bit intrusive.

Other then that, this is really good stuff!
